Cut Grass and Snapped Leaves:
A Green Perfume Workshop

My love of topiary led me explore the Green perfume classification.
Think meadows and green grasses.

Cut Grass and Snapped Leaves: A Green Perfume Workshop at Alchemologie

Green perfumes are categorized by snapped leaves, mown grass, new shoots and vegetation. Notes like galbanum, vetiver, basil, rosemary, pine, juniper, fir and petitgrain are used to create light, summery and refreshing fragrances. The floral heart is toned down and there is usually a quiet earthy base.

I've gathered some lovely perfume materials to work with in this advanced perfumery class including galbanum, rhododendron leaf, laurel, juniper absolute, myrtle, champa leaf and tarragon absolute (among others). I also have samples of vintage classics Guerlain Vetiver and Balmain Vent Vert, as well as samples of some of the best natural perfumers working today. You'll have the opportunity to create two perfumes.  $25 extra to make a third, time considering.
